The benefits of chess are numerous, from focus and concentration to improved math and science scores. The students of Cornerstone have taken this activity and become the City Champions and 2nd in the state. Going to national tournaments in Texas and Tennessee require tournament entry fees, transportation, lodging other cost. These events are April 26-28 and May 10-12. Your support will teach our children that their community cares about their excellence and is willing to encourage them with their dollars. In previous years we have been able to raise money with private fundraisers to supplement the parents contributions. We are now reaching out to the broader community to assist us in our efforts. We are grateful for any amount and are thanking you in advance.
